Scéno Plus was mandated to design the interior of the Ellipse, a colossal glass area located at the entrance of the resort. Filled with natural light due to 360 degree windows, this space offers an extraordinary view on the ocean and features gigantic escalators directing guests to different parts of the resorts such as the Casino, the Conference room level and the Hotel Lobby. In collaboration with the artist Pascale Girardin Scéno Plus designed remarkable pieces of art adding color and artistic presence to this 150 foot high open volume.

Outstanding features

The elevator cage, a 40 by 110 foot massive structure, is covered with a beautifully illustrated coral fabric designed to bring warmth and vivacity to the space.

A 90 foot tall two-part mobile, designed and produced in Montreal, is suspended from the Ellipse ceiling. Composed of 19,700 silk-printed aluminum flakes, the mobile will sparkle in the daylight and be visible from the Atlantic City Boardwalk after dark.

Impressive suspended custom lamps are creating an interesting look to the overall volume. In addition, Sceno Plus has selected modern furniture and carpet specifically for this one-of-a-kind space.
