Revel Entertainment Group has mandated Scéno Plus to reflect on the best possible way to protect patrons from the elements at the main entrance of the complex. The design intent was to create a real sense of arrival for the guests and transport them into a new and exciting environment as soon as they disembark from their vehicles. Scéno Plus designed an aerodynamic structure that will deflect strong ocean winds, protect the guests upon arrival and leave the drop-off completely free for circulation.

Outstanding features

Built with a very durable Teflon membrane, the Porte Cochere has the ability to transmit natural light and fill the area with diffuse and enjoyable luminosity. At night, the backlit glow of the membrane creates a unique and dramatic architectural signature.

Scéno Plus designed a solid and efficient structure that will evacuate rain in a drain located far away from the circulation areas while protecting patrons from the ocean winds.

Additionally, the dynamic structure merges aesthetically with the curved facade of the resort.
