This small, flexible theatre, which can accommodate up to 350 spectators, is part of Montreal’s leading cultural complex, Place des Arts, manager of the space. Scéno Plus’ concept for the multidisciplinary theater meets the extremely varied requirements of the 200 to 300 users who rent the space every year.

Outstanding features

The seating configuration can be changed very quickly thanks to an ingenious, efficient mobile platform system, making it one of the top-performing theaters in Quebec. Based on a European concept generally used in sports amphitheaters, Scéno Plus worked with a Quebec manufacturer to design a computer-controlled system that meets all North American standards.

The configuration can be changed in less than 10 minutes (thrust stage, theatre in the round, face to face, etc.) with unfailing precision. 

Only one technician is required to check that the tracking is engaged.
