Trained in Theatrical Techniques at Cégep Lionel-Groulx, Benoit Panaccio has worked on a wide range of performing art productions for several theatre companies. Starting as a freelancer, he was quickly recruited by the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde in Montreal as Technical Director and Production Manager, where he spent five years. During this period, he also taught Technical Direction and Production Management at Cégep Lionel-Groulx.
Benoit is a member of Scéno Plus since 2001 as Theatre Designer and Project Manager. As such, he is in charge of designing and planning theatrical spaces of most of the company’s projects, overseeing all aspects of the projects’ operations. Benoit is also responsible for building site work coordination to insure that all needs of theatrical design and equipment integration are met.
