Passionate about the world of performing arts, Lorraine Berthiaume graduated from the Université du Québec à Montréal Drama Faculty (UQÀM) in 1975. Co-founder of Scéno Plus, she has been involved in the development of artistic organizations and in the management of cultural places, notably in a context of performing art creation and diffusion space development.
Actively involved into the Québec cultural milieu, Lorraine sits on the Théâtre Hector-Charland’s board of directors since 2000 and acting as its Chair since 2005. She is also involved, since 2004, in fund raising activities for the Théâtre d’Aujourd’hui, an organization committed to promoting Québec’s contemporary dramaturgy.
As General Manager of Scéno Plus, Lorraine oversees all financial, administrative, and legal operations of the company.
